Looking for a quick, delicious, and hassle-free dinner? These Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas are the perfect solution! Ready in just 30 minutes, this recipe combines tender, seasoned chicken breast with vibrant bell peppers and onions, all roasted together on one baking sheet. It’s the easiest way to enjoy the bold, zesty flavors of Mexican cuisine without the fuss.

Why You’ll Love These Fajitas

Whether you’re planning taco night or prepping meals for the week, these fajitas are sure to impress. Seasoned with a flavorful blend of Tex-Mex spices—like cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika—this dish is bursting with savory goodness. It’s also:

  • Low in carbs: A healthier option for any diet.
  • High in protein: Packed with lean chicken and fresh veggies.
  • Incredibly simple: Minimal prep, minimal cleanup!

How to Make Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas

This recipe requires just one large mixing bowl and a single baking sheet. Follow these steps for a foolproof dinner:

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Slice chicken, bell peppers, and onions and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Season to Perfection: Toss everything with fajita seasoning, olive oil, and a splash of white wine vinegar.
  3. Bake: Spread the mixture evenly on a large baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 minutes.

Pro Tip: Leave the chicken and veggies undisturbed while baking. This allows the bell peppers and onions to caramelize beautifully, enhancing their rich, deep flavor.

  1. Add a Finishing Touch: Once out of the oven, sprinkle the fajitas with fresh lime juice and chopped cilantro for a burst of freshness.

Serving Suggestions

These fajitas are incredibly versatile and can be enjoyed in several ways. Here’s how to serve them for maximum flavor:

  • Classic Tacos: Fill warm corn tortillas with the chicken and veggie mixture. Add a drizzle of Mexican crema and a sprinkle of cotija cheese for a traditional taco experience.
  • Low-Carb Option: Skip the tortillas and serve over a bed of crisp lettuce or cauliflower rice.
  • Burrito Bowl: Layer the fajita mixture over rice, beans, and avocado for a hearty bowl.

Pair your meal with a side of chips and guacamole or a refreshing margarita for a complete Mexican feast!

Why It Works

This recipe is as practical as it is flavorful. Using a single sheet pan means less mess and more time to enjoy your meal. The high oven temperature ensures the chicken stays juicy while the veggies develop a smoky, caramelized finish. And with no flipping or stirring required, it’s truly a set-it-and-forget-it dish.

Make these Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas a staple in your dinner rotation—they’re guaranteed to please everyone at the table!
